He met Elon Musk several times and even won a bet against him. Mark started his entrepreneurial journey in 2008 to contribute to the greening of the city of Amsterdam. Along with Florian Minderop, he founded their current company, MisterGreen Electric Lease, after watching Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth." This documentary inspired them to start MisterGreen, which offers leasing of electric cars. It is the first 100% electric car leasing company in Europe. Currently, MisterGreen owns over 4,500 Teslas distributed across Europe.
