Leonie is passionate about sustainability and innovation, making it accessible for as many people as possible.

She was Director of Urban Development departments and head of Port Spatial Development of Amsterdam. In November 2018 she started working as Program Director for Amsterdam Smart City, an  open innovation platform, where technology and innovation is being used to create better, sustainable cities for all.  Almost two years ago she also started as Chairwomen of the Vereniging Elektrisch Rijders. With this Association Leonie aims for speeding up the transition toward clean mobility, making it accessible and affordable for all. And as clean and sustainable as possible.
